1. Child Safeguarding Policy
COHEC is committed to the safety and dignity of every child we serve. All staff and volunteers who interact directly with children are expected to follow safe conduct guidelines, and may be asked for references or to complete a safeguarding briefing. Any concern about a child's welfare should be reported immediately to COHEC leadership.
2. Photos, Names & Consent
Where possible, COHEC seeks appropriate consent from a parent, guardian or care institution before publishing photos or stories involving children. We avoid publishing full names, exact addresses, or other identifying details of individual children on this website or our social media channels.
3. Data Privacy
Information submitted through our contact, volunteer, partnership, prayer and registration forms is used only to respond to your request and to coordinate COHEC's ministry. We do not sell or trade personal data. Form submissions are sent securely by email and relevant leaders are alerted by WhatsApp for time-sensitive requests.
4. Donation & Refund Policy
Donations are used to fund COHEC's programmes as designated wherever possible. If a specific campaign is over-funded or cannot proceed as planned, funds may be redirected to a comparable need within COHEC's mission. To request a refund or receipt, please contact us directly.
5. Orphanage Verification
"Verified" listings in our Orphanages & Communities directory reflect an in-person visit and assessment by COHEC leadership. Verification does not constitute a legal endorsement and is reviewed periodically.
6. Terms of Use
